The Rockefeller Award is the State Academy’s highest level of recognition. It is reserved for those who demonstrate the highest qualities of public service and possess a distinguished career in the service of others.
Congratulations to New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli, this year’s recipient of the Rockefeller Award. Comptroller DiNapoli joins a long and distinguished list of recipients, including previous NYS Comptroller H. Carl McCall, and the first ever recipient of the Rockefeller Award in 1980, Comptroller Arthur Levitt.
Chair of the State Academy’s Rockefeller Awards Committee, Sorelle Brauth, was honored to present the 2025 Rockefeller Award. Comptroller DiNapoli was unable to attend the award ceremony, but graciously sent an acceptance video. Jason Windsor, Comptroller DiNapoli’s Deputy Comptroller for Finance & Administration, accepted the award on his behalf.
